Terms and conditions
for your stay.

A booking is confirmed once the advance payment set out in our payment policy has been received. When your booking is complete, we will send you a booking confirmation with the details of your booking. You must show your booking confirmation(s) at check-in, together with a valid photo identification document (national identity card, passport, driving licence or any other valid identification document). If you do not receive your booking confirmation(s) within twenty-four (24) hours of booking, please contact us at info@colombocourthotel.com or +94 11 464 5333.

Colombo Court Hotel & Spa was the first city hotel in South Asia to be certified CarbonNeutral®.

• Check-in time is 14.00 hrs on the day of arrival.
• Booked rooms will be held for check-in until 9.00 hrs on the day following the scheduled check-in date, after which the booking will be deemed a no-show and Colombo Court Hotel & Spa shall be entitled to release the booked rooms. No refund will be given for a booking released in this way.
• Early check-in is subject to availability and is chargeable.
• Early check-in between 8.00 hrs and 14.00 hrs is charged at 50% of the room rate. Early check-in at or before 8.00 hrs is charged at the full night rate on a room-only basis.

• Check-out time is 12.00 hrs on the day of departure. Late check-out is subject to availability and is chargeable.
• If a room is not vacated by the agreed check-out time, Colombo Court Hotel & Spa reserves the right to move your belongings to the luggage storage facility (luggage storage charges may apply) and to make the room available to the next guest. Colombo Court Hotel & Spa shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to belongings resulting from such action.
• Late check-out between 14.00 hrs and 18.00 hrs is charged at 50% of the room rate. Late check-out at or after 18.00 hrs is charged at the full night rate on a room-only basis.

• Bookings cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice before the date of arrival are free of charge.
• Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of arrival are charged 100% of the full stay.
• All no-shows are charged 100% of the full stay.

Colombo Court Hotel & Spa reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking because of an emergency, natural disaster or other unavoidable circumstance. In that case, Colombo Court Hotel & Spa will either refund the full amount paid by the customer or move the customer to another hotel of a similar standard.

• Children aged 5 years and under stay free of charge. They may share their parents’ bed, or an extra bed can be provided at USD 15++ per night.
• Children aged 6 to 12 years are charged 50% of the meal rate. An extra bed is required for this age group, at USD 15++ per night.
• Guests aged 13 years and over are charged the full adult rate.

Child rates include taxes and service charge. A complimentary baby cot is available for infants. Colombo Court Hotel & Spa does not offer a babysitting service.

• An advance payment of 50% of the booking value is required to confirm a booking. The balance is payable on arrival.
• Payments are not taken through this website. Our reservations team will send you the payment details with your booking confirmation.
• For stays between 20 December and 31 March, and in July and August, the balance is due 14 days before the date of arrival.

We accept American Express, Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. We accept payment in Sri Lankan rupees, US dollars, British pounds, Australian dollars and euros.

Colombo Court Hotel & Spa is entitled to request payment of any amounts outstanding from earlier check-outs or previous stays.

Colombo Court Hotel & Spa reserves the right to retain your payment details in order to compensate for any damage caused to the allocated room(s) or hotel premises by you or any persons in your party during your stay. Colombo Court Hotel & Spa further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.

Colombo Court Hotel & Spa provides free on-site car parking for guests. Spaces are limited. Cars are parked at the guest’s own risk, and the hotel cannot guarantee the security of any car or its contents. Please lock your car and keep your belongings out of sight. The hotel reserves the right to move vehicles when necessary to organise the parking area.

Airport transfers are available on request. Please contact the front office for rates.

We’re unable to accommodate pets at the hotel. If you have any questions, please contact us before you book.

Smoking is not permitted in any room at Colombo Court Hotel & Spa. If this policy is breached, Colombo Court Hotel & Spa has the right to charge a penalty of USD 300 at the time of check-out.

Colombo Court Hotel & Spa has a doctor on call twenty-four (24) hours a day. The hotel will bear the cost of the doctor’s call-out fee, and any further costs will be borne by the guest. Any serious injuries which cannot be treated by the hotel doctor will be referred to the nearest hospital for further treatment. In case of unavailability of the doctor, the hotel will transfer the guest to the nearest hospital.
