Colombo Court Hotel And Spa Donates To Boys Industrial Home And Orphanage Sri Lanka

Colombo Court Hotel and Spa has donated some items to the Boys Industrial Home and Orphanage ahead of the Perahera celebrations.
The Boys Industrial Home and Orphanage is a home for some children who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected and others who have been placed by loving caregivers going through difficult situations. Each day offers a fresh opportunity to deliver hope and healing to those who are hurting.
The donation, which is a part of the company’s corporate social responsibility activities, has become an annual tradition to enable the children to enjoy the festivities.
According to the Human resource manager of the company, Chamara De Alwis, the donation is part of the company’s commitment to giving back to society.
The items included Milk Powder, Sugar, Dhal, Captain Canned Fish among others food items.

We are also committed to giving back to society by addressing its needs,” he stated.
Presenting the items on behalf of the company, Mr Wojciech Raus said, “Perahera is a season of showing love to one another and at Colombo Court Hotel and Spa; this is our little way of showing love and support to the children here”.

Receiving the items on behalf of the home, Mr.Shantha Kumara, expressed gratitude for the act of kindness.
“We are grateful to At Colombo Court Hotel and Spa for making a stop at our home during this festive season. This gesture marks the beginning of a lasting relationship between the Boys Industrial Home and Colombo Court Hotel and Spa.”
“You have brought us much more than we could imagine. These items will indeed put smiles on the faces of these children. We are very grateful,” he said.
