Let’s begin by stating that Colombo Courtyard is South Asia’s first CarbonNeutral® City Hotel, meaning we’re eco friendly, which in turn means that you’ve started your wedded life with no harm done to the environment! We’ve taken our eco friendly concept and used it across our interior design as well. Art enthusiasts will love our sculptures, made from upcycled material, while also noticing that even elements of our furniture are made using scrap metal. If you’d like to take a 15 minute break from your room, a tour can be arranged to show you all the nitty gritties of the Hotel.

Let’s get to that room mentioned. You’ve informed us that it’s your honeymoon and we’ve kept Suite 305 ready for you. 305 is our very special Honeymoon Suite. It features a king sized, four poster bed and all amenities needed, to ensure that you can spend your entire stay with us locked away, should you choose. Another detail that we’d like to point out (and you’d probably notice yourselves upon entering) is that we’ve strategically placed the bathtub in the room itself – meaning you can switch on that 42 inch Smart TV, get out that bottle of wine, and simmer in utmost relaxation. We also have two sinks in the bathroom (nobody wants to fight over how long the other person takes on their honeymoon – that’s for later), and a separate shower as well.

Should you chose to leave the comfort of your abode, the Hotel itself has three dining venues, ranging from fine dining at Scarlet Room, to live entertainment and Cafe food on our Rooftop. We also have Loft Lounge Bar, known for it’s unique cocktails and selection of single malts. Wines can also be chosen from our wine cellar at our Wine Lounge – Grape Expectations.

Nothing spells deep relaxation like S-P-A does, and our Balinese therapists will ensure that you and your partner in crime leave us feeling completely at ease. A dip in our pool, jacuzzi or plunge pool will also definitely help your body relax.

As much as our urban oasis has a lot to offer, so too does our City. Filled with a mix of past and present, Colombo offers historical sites such as the Gangarama Temple and the Old Dutch Hospital, now a shopping complex (two birds) and modern comforts such as malls with international brands like Charles and Keith and Nike. A romantic walk at Victoria Park in the evening is also recommended, while watching the sunset at Galle Face green is quite a sight in itself.
